About Character:
- Kami serves as the Guardian of Earth throughout the original Dragon Ball and early Dragon Ball Z story arcs, residing at the Lookout and overseeing the planet’s spiritual balance. A Namekian and the son of Katas, Kami originally split his being to purge his own evil, resulting in the birth of King Piccolo. This division created a life link between them, binding Earth’s fate to their existence. As the creator of Earth’s Dragon Balls, Kami plays a central role in the planet’s revival cycles and trains Goku prior to the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai. During the Android Saga, Kami ultimately fuses back with Piccolo to restore his original Namekian identity, strengthening Earth’s defense against artificial and extraterrestrial threats.
